Personal Statement
 My name is John Ngugi and I am from Kenya, where I worked as an Athletic Director at University of Nairobi. I joined Truman College in 2000 as an International Student. I work in the Student Activities Office. I have worked in Truman College for over 8 years in student services, and the Truman/DePaul Bridge Program. I have also offered assistance and orientation to refugees, who attend Truman, from Africa, and other parts of the world. I have traveled to over 20 different countries. I can assist you with general information on Truman College programs, especially on sports and academic programs. I can also offer orientation to refugees, immigrants, and non-immigrant International Students, especially those from Africa.

Hobbies: Mountain climbing (climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro 19,070 ft, Mt. Kenya, 17,040 ft), camping, sports, traveling, photography and music
